Migration timeline

Done in under 2 hours

Most creators finish in one afternoon. If your list is over 1,000 subscribers, we do the migration for you at no cost.

1
Export from Substack
Substack has a built-in export button in Settings that downloads a ZIP with all your posts (HTML + images) and a subscriber CSV. Takes 30 seconds.
2
Upload to Fluxeta
Post content, images, subscriber list, and paid-membership info all come across. Your subscribers get a one-time re-consent email (DPDP compliance) so you never lose their trust.
3
Point your domain and redirect
If you had a custom domain, we walk you through the DNS switch. Old Substack post URLs get 301-redirected to your new Fluxeta URLs so search rankings and external backlinks survive.

Common questions

Before you switch

Do I lose my Substack subscribers when I migrate? โ–พ
No. Your full subscriber list transfers. Every subscriber gets one re-consent email (required by India's DPDP Act 2023) confirming they want to keep hearing from you. Bounce rate is typically under 3%.
What happens to my paid subscribers? Will they need to re-pay? โ–พ
Paid subscribers keep their current billing date and amount. They re-authorize the payment via a one-tap magic link (Stripe subscription IDs can't transfer between platforms, so this is a legal necessity โ€” but the UX is a single click). Anyone who doesn't re-auth stays on their current Substack subscription until you fully switch off.
What about my old post URLs? Will they 404? โ–พ
No. If you point your custom domain at Fluxeta, every old post URL (like yourpub.substack.com/p/hello or yourpub.com/p/hello) auto-redirects (301) to the matching Fluxeta URL. Google transfers your rankings, external backlinks keep working.
How much does Fluxeta charge in fees? โ–พ
0% platform fee. Substack takes 10% of every paid subscription forever. Fluxeta takes 0%. You still pay standard payment-processor fees (Razorpay ~2% for UPI, Stripe 2.9% for cards) but nothing on top for us.
Does Fluxeta support UPI Autopay for Indian subscribers? โ–พ
Yes. This is one of the main reasons Indian creators leave Substack. UPI Autopay lets subscribers pay โ‚น99, โ‚น499, โ‚น1,999 (any amount) via PhonePe, Google Pay, or BHIM with auto-renewal every month. Substack cannot process UPI.
Do you support Substack's content export format? โ–พ
Yes. Substack's export ZIP (posts + images + subscribers CSV) uploads directly to Fluxeta's import wizard. We parse posts, preserve slugs, transfer featured images, and match subscribers by email.
What if I have a list over 1,000 subscribers? โ–พ
We do the whole migration for you at no cost. Email us at hello@fluxeta.com and we'll schedule a 30-min call, run the migration on your behalf, and hand you the finished site to review and approve.
What happens to my Substack when I move to Fluxeta? โ–พ
It stays live. Nothing on Substack gets deleted or disabled by moving to Fluxeta. Once you're happy on Fluxeta, you can shut down the Substack account manually โ€” or leave it as a legacy archive.
